Qual é o sentido do direito de resistência em Hobbes? Uma aparente armadilha

Abstract

This paper is about the meaning of right of resistance in Thomas Hobbes political theory. It is reasonable to say that right of resistance it might be a trap, put up by Hobbes himself, and taken as the basis of his theory. But what is the limit for that idea? I try to point out how to dissolve that apparent trap and show that an invitation to right of resist it is not what Hobbes was doing at that time.
