Abstract

innovative development" shifts its emphasis from being understood as a process of qualitative changes to being perceived as the ability of enterprises to adapt to new realities, find unconventional solutions, and effectively utilize available resources. Based on this, the definition of innovative development of enterprises has been improved. An analysis of expenditures on scientific research and development in Ukraine has been conducted, revealing the instability of their funding. Measures for finding sources of additional financial resources include reorganizing budget priorities, activating cooperation with international donor organizations, and using public-private partnership mechanisms. It has also been found that the entrepreneurial sector demonstrated a high level of expenditure on R&D. It is shown that European integration processes create an external environment that actively influences the innovative development of Ukrainian enterprises through access to funding, advanced technologies, regulatory environment improvements, knowledge exchange
