While the certifications recognize the biophilic effects on users and contributions to sustainable construction, they often overlook scientifically proven benefits such as acoustic insulation and urban noise reduction. Abstract

Building rating systems allow for the evaluation of environmental buildings’ impact throughout their lifecycle, thereby enabling improved design.
