The role of the forensic archeologist and anthropologist in recovery of human remains from fatal fires

Abstract

Fatal fires pose complex challenges for responders due to the requirement to investigate all aspects of the fire using methods that maximize evidence recovery and integrity, including optimal and respectful recovery of the deceased.
