To investigate the impact of organizational climate and creative work involvement on readiness for organizational change, Turkish shipbuilding companies and leading ship design service providers were surveyed. The results showed that organizational climate and creative work involvement positively and significantly affect readiness for organizational change, where organizational climate and creative work involvement reflected the most significant positive effects, respectively, on the management support and change efficacy subdimensions of readiness for organizational change. The contribution to the literature lies in the unique approach to this relation, which has not been explored in previous studies.
