An overview of the benefits and limitations of several main synthesis pathways and secondary treatments for the production of ceramic-reinforced AMCs is provided in a clear and comprehensive manner through a synthesis of previous investigations. Abstract
The primary synthesis and secondary treatment of aluminum matrix composites are thoroughly reviewed in this work. further treatments that are intended to improve the properties of the synthesized composites—such as heat treatment, forging, and other thermomechanical processes—are covered.
