However, the risk assessment of RNAi and amiRNA plants should be looked at to rule out any off-target consequences. Besides, there are other limitations to the effectiveness of this technology, including the choice of target species and crops, the stability of the trigger molecules, and gene candidate selection. Over the past decade, several target genes have been discovered in a variety of flower crops for the improvement of their economic traits. Abstract
