The system captures detailed information about crime suspects from the initial report to court prosecution, supporting decision-making and trend analysis. Microsoft Visual Basic programming language and Microsoft Access database were used to develop the system, chosen for their user-friendly interface and robust data management capabilities. Rigorous testing was conducted to ensure functionality and performance, with unit testing of individual components and system testing of the entire setup. The inefficiencies of manual crime tracking systems in Nigeria necessitate the development of a computerized crime tracking information system.
