Coding Review: Preparticipation Physical Evaluations

Abstract

When children participate in certain activities (eg, school sports, summer camp, school admission), parents may be required to provide evidence of a recent preparticipation physical evaluation (PPE) and/or a form completed by a physician or other qualified health care professional (QHP) clearing children to participate and noting any restrictions or necessary accommodations.
