Learning vocabulary is a basic requirement for learning a foreign language. After the researcher learns that the method and means used in SD Islam Qur’ani are traditional and were not effective in conducting vocabulary teaching, with evidence after observation, the researcher arrived at the results that the students are unable to understand the meaning of vocabulary. It leads to a weakness in the students ability to learn the Arabic language, so the researcher conducted research on the topic “Using the Snakes and Ladders Method in Teaching Vocabulary in SD Islam Qur’ani” \"To determine the effectiveness of using the snakes and ladders method in the process of teaching vocabulary. To achieve the intended goal, the researcher designed an experimental research for this research, and the population for this research was all the students of the fourth semester, numbering 45 students. So the researcher took as a sample the research the fourth semester (2) as the experimental group, numbering 22 students. As for The method used to collect data was the method of testing and direct observation, and the researcher obtained the result of the research, which is that the use of the snakes and ladders method is effective in the process of teaching vocabulary in SD Islam Qur’ani.
