Abstract

: Background: Cryptosporidium parvum is an intracellular coccidial protozoa that can lead to life-threatening impacts in immunocompromised hosts. Atorvastatin may be used to treat human cryptosporidiosis. Nanomedicine developments appear promising in treatment of cryptosporidiosis.
