And the life index which is more suitable for the reliability evaluation of TBM components is identified by comparison. On this basis, a dynamic evaluation method for the reliability of TBM components under the condition of multi-classes surrounding rock is proposed. This method can quickly evaluate the current reliability of TBM components and serve as the basis for preventive maintenance. Abstract

The complex geological conditions in tunnels pose a huge challenge to the reliability of tunnel boring machine (TBM). 隧道施工中掘进机部件的动态可靠性评估

The journal publishes Special Issues with a common theme or regional coverage e.g. Chinese Dinosaurs; Tectonics of the Eastern Mediterranean, Triassic basins of the Central and North Atlantic Borderlands). These are extensively cited. The Journal has a particular interest in publishing papers on regional case studies from any global locality which have conclusions of general interest. Such papers may emphasize aspects across the full spectrum of geological sciences.
