Abstract

The second half of the article on the source exploration of the Eastern Free State border area deals more specifically with works that have been published about the history of the magisterial districts of Clocolan, Ficksburg, Ladybrand, Rouxville, Smithfield, Wepener and Zastron. Included are descriptions of journeys, as well as biographies, reminiscences, local histories, official publications, dissertations, theses and articles from newspapers and periodicals.
