Abstract

The following new compounds of gold(III) with 1,1-dimethylbiguanide (NH₂C(=NH)NHC(=NH)N(CH₃)₂) are prepared and studied by XRD: [Au(dmbgH)Cl₂]Cl^.0.5H₂O, [Au(dmbgH)Cl₂]ClO₄^.H₂O, [Au(dmbgH) Cl₂]ClO₄, [Au(dmbg)Cl₂][Au(dmbgH)Cl₂]Cl^.H₂O (dmbgH = 1,1-dimethylbiguanide, dmbg = deprotonated 1,1-dimethylbiguanide).
