Abstract

The correct choice of a profession and appropriate career guidance are important not only for the prospects of young people but for the development of society. Experience with career guidance for schoolchildren as part of a long-term strategy for cooperation with the region’s educational institutions is described here. The system of career guidance established today at PAO Koks will improve the prestige of the engineering professions in the Kemerovo region of Kuznetsk Basin, attract students to work at the plant, and provide high-quality professional training for young scientists.
