Abstract

Objective: To determine the current state of the global production chain of Macrobrachium rosenbergii, identifying its links and the characteristics of the techniques used. Design/Methodology/Approach: Studies over a period of 20 years (2001-2022) about the production chain of M. rosenbergii were reviewed and analyzed. The information was synthesized in tables and the most relevant production and farming data are offered as an output. Results: The following links of the production chain were identified: production, processing, and commercialization.
