Abstract

Objective: Describe the services available to pregnant women throughout their journey in the health care network during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle. Methods: This is a descriptive research, based on a literature review following the methodology of an integrative review, using the PRISMA flowchart. The descriptors Pregnant and Therapeutic Itinerary were used in the SciELO, MEDLINE and VHL databases. Articles published in full, free of charge, in English or Portuguese, in the last 10 years, were included. Results: After evaluating the databases, 5 articles were selected relating to the theme of therapeutic itinerary for pregnant women in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle. The central themes identified covered the stork network, basic and specialized care, in addition to the context of pregnant women who use alcohol and/or other drugs. Final considerations: It was possible to observe that adequate attention at each stage of this itinerary is essential to promote maternal and fetal health, ensuring that pregnant women who present some gestational risk have the opportunity to experience pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in a safer way.
