His symptoms did not improve, prompting him to seek care at our hospital. On interview, he denied fevers, chills, dysphagia, otalgia, odynophagia, dyspepsia, chest pain, dyspnea, or weight changes. His temperature was 36.3°C, heart rate 75 beats per minute, blood pressure 150/77 mmHg, respiratory rate 22 breaths per minute, and oxygen saturation 93% on room air.
