This study was focused on describing innovativeness among nurse leaders and the relationship between innovativeness and transformational leadership. A descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design was used; 97 nurse leaders participated. Contact was through a web-enabled survey posted to the American Nurses Association of New York website and social media platforms. A majority of the nurse leaders rated themselves as innovative and there was a significant relationship between innovativeness and transformational leadership.
