Miss. Satakopan traveled to various countries in the 1970’s to develop analytical methods for Ayurvedic drugs and published numerous papers that contributed to the quality control measures of Ayurvedic drugs. As a member of the Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia Committee, she provided guidelines and established basic principles for pharmacopeial test methods. She also advised botanical studies and contributed to the Ayurvedic pharmacopeia of India. At 94, she passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in botany.
