Abstract

Prevotella copri, which is divided into four clades, exerts bidirectional effects on host health. These effects include positive improvements in the allergy response and insulin sensitivity. However, P. copri sometimes has adverse effects on host health, and it has been found to be positively correlated with inflammation, insulin resistance, and diarrhea.
