Thirty sources met inclusion; 16 unique tools were identified. Tools exclusively originated from simulation practice in high-resource settings and predominantly focused on debriefing. Many tools have limited validity evidence supporting their use. In particular, the validity evidence supporting the extrapolation and implications of assessment is lacking.
