Polish migrants on Zakynthos, who form a largely understudied group within the broader category of non-Greek Europeans residing long-term in Greece, craft intricate views of what they consider the "Greek lifestyle." Ethnographic fieldwork not only reveals how the Polish community on Zakynthos defines this specific way of life but also highlights how these particular perceptions significantly influence decisions to migrate and settle on the island.
