Women’s knowledge of the effectiveness of biostimulants and tissue fillers

Abstract

Cosmetology and aesthetic medicine offer a wide range of non-invasive treatments to improve the appearance of the skin and delay the progressive ageing process. Over the past few years, preparations used to restore lost tissue volume and biostimulators have gained popularity. The study aimed to present the state of women’s knowledge regarding the effectiveness of biostimulants and tissue fillers. Treatments using the aforementioned preparations are widely popular, however, clients are often unaware of their effects and efficacy.
