RESCUING AND RESCUE: THE RATIO OF LEGAL CONCEPTS IN THE FIELD OF ENSURING THE SAFETY

Abstract

The article examines the use of the terms «rescuing» and «rescue» in legal documents regulating the safety of people on a water body. In this aspect, international law, Russian law and standardization documents are analyzed. It has been revealed that these terms are used to refer to different legal concepts, and unjustified mixing is allowed. Based on an analysis of the legal nature of salvation as a complex of specific legal relations, its author's definition was formulated. It was concluded that it is necessary to legally define the legal concepts of «rescuing» and «rescue».
