Abstract

Water service providers need to prepare for more extreme weather events in a changing climate.

A geospatial analysis found that differences in boil-water advisory lengths issued during 2021's Winter Storm Uri were based on the population served and rural or urban location.

A cross-sectional survey showed that many individuals were unaware of or confused about the advisories that were (or were not) issued.
