Critical Discourse in (Arab Criticism Towards a Second Theory) by Dr. Mustafa Nassif

Abstract

Dr. Mustafa Nassif is considered a unique type among his peers and members of his generation. He is also one of the most prominent critics in the modern era. He is an imam in all his specialties, criticism and writing . The research adopts the practice of (criticism of criticism) according to Dr. Mustafa Nassif in his critical discourse, while applying the descriptive analytical method, which relies on the analysis of critical discourse, which leads to a critical theory of the critic. As it becomes clear to the reader his approach to dialogue with others, and taking the statement in a specific way; To present his opinion and evaluate what needs to be evaluated in his view, this research was titled: Critical Discourse in the Book (Arab Criticism Towards a Second Theory) by Dr. Mustafa Nassif. The research was divided into these points : The critic’s intellectual reference, the procedural tools relied upon, expressive formulation (methodological issues) that establish his critical approach, illuminated knowledge of criticism.
