A STUDY ON THE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY OF KERALA STATE ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION (KSRTC)

Abstract

The study on the operational efciency of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation aims to analyse the various costs that affect the protability of the rm. This study also determines the revenue required per year to achieve break even. The type of research used for the study is quantitative research and the main sources of data is secondary. The tools used for the study include ratio analysis and cost analysis. The study found that the possibility of achievement of breakeven situation is also a challenging task for KSRTC. They must come up with radical steps to improve the nancial situation of KSRTC which is severely caused by the current operating procedures.
