Local Self-Government in Russia: The Development of Laws and Issues of Correlation of Powers with Public Government Authorities

Abstract

In the presented study, the authors analyze the interpretation of the concept of “public authority” and the eighth chapter of the Basic Law by comparing different approaches to the institution of “local self-government”. There are certain forecasts of the development of local self-government in our country.
