Nursing care competencies for multiple sclerosis

Abstract

The UK Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Nurse Association's competency document, which was originally developed in 2008, aims to educate and increase awareness of multiple sclerosis among both specialist nurses and other non-specialist professionals. The latest document—revised in 2024—aims to showcase the most up-to-date information and serves not only as daily practice guidelines, but also promotes safe and effective practice in multiple sclerosis care.
