Research on burnout shows that health professionals have high levels of burnout. Working conditions have become even more difficult, especially during the pandemic period. There are few studies on healthcare professionals working in dialysis units. This is a cross-sectional survey involving 215 healthcare professionals working in dialysis units. The sample of the study consisted of physicians, nurses and dialysis technicians working in dialysis units in different provinces of Turkey. In the research findings, it was determined that health professionals working in the dialysis unit had low levels of surface acting, moderate levels of deep acting, and high levels of natural feelings, burnout levels were low in all sub-dimensions and high level of psychological capital. A statistically significant relationship was found between emotional labor, burnout and psychological capital.
