ZnOx doped with MnCO3 showed the highest catalytic activity. These properties have\napplications in wastewater treatment and dye removal processes in textile industries. ZnO NPs exhibit\nUV shielding and photocatalytic properties. ZnO NPs-coated cotton fabric is used in textile\nindustries as it has more UV protection against uncoated cotton fabric. ZnO NPs are major semiconductors\nhaving a band gap of 3.34eV. This gives a range of applications in electrical and electronic\nindustries. Biologically synthesized ZnO NP had better anti-microbial properties, which have\na wide range of applications in the food industry, compared to chemically synthesized ZnO NP.
