Enhancing diagnostic value in urethral imaging: the case for urologist‐performed urethrograms

Abstract

Urologist‐performed urethrograms in males and voiding cystourethrograms in females provide superior diagnostic imaging compared with traditional radiology‐performed studies. The authors argue that implementing urologist‐performed urethrograms and cystourethrograms as standard practice would improve urethral stricture disease management and other urethral pathology outcomes.
