Its similarity in texture, color, and contour to the facial region makes it particularly useful for reconstructing defects in the neck and lower face. Additionally, its thin and pliable nature, coupled with a moderate volume, renders it suitable for a wide range of applications, including intraoral defects, pharyngeal defects, and contour refinement in facial surgery.
