The vaccine was composed of almost equal proportions of pertussis toxin (PT) and filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA). The purity of the vaccine was 97–99%. Abstract
An acellular pertussis vaccine manufactured by Biken‡ was investigated for purity, potency and toxicity.
