Before passing through the heat exchanger, the used oil has an oil filter, then the oil passes through a small tube which has been heated with steam, where over time the tube will become clogged due to dirt. Over time, these deposits accumulate and a blockage occurs in the tube exchanger area. If a blockage occurs, the pressure in the tube will automatically experience a pressure drop due to deposits in the Heat Exchanger tube. Abstract
The production process at PT ALP Petro Industry often occurs when the tubes in the Heat Exchanger are blocked to heat the used oil which will then be processed further.
