Our description of a toothed mysticete from the Oligocene of Umashima exemplifies the coexistence of toothed and baleen-assisted mysticetes in the northwestern Pacific. Abstract
Oligocene mysticetes display an unparalleled diversity and morphological disparity in the evolutionary history of Mysticeti.
