Abstract

Introduction

On 4 October 2023, Dr Helen Roberts, a sociometeorologist at the Met Office, chaired a free two-hour Royal Meteorological Society webinar focused on the crucial role of behavioural change and communication in tackling climate change. Professor Lorraine Whitmarsh first discussed ‘Public Engagement and Behaviour Change for Net Zero’, followed by Professor Saffron O'Neill, who talked about ‘Communicating Climate Change through Images and Video’.
