Estado, Capital y Matriz productiva: El caso chileno de los noventa

Abstract

The guiding idea of the present study is that of deciphering the role of the Chilean State during the first two governments of the Concertación in Chile. This will be done by analyzing the general determinations of the process of capital accumulation and the role of the State in said process during the nineties, whose synthesis creates a specific productive structure. Methodologically it will proceed by examining series of macroeconomic indicators utilizing the recommended variables of the theory in use. It concludes by explaining the economic content of the political action of the State.
