Abstract

Plants show various medicinal properties due to presence of phytoconstituents. Gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy is a technique which is used to identify compounds in a plant extract on the basis of retention time and their mass. In the current investigation, petroleum ether extracts of seed of Psoralea corylifolia (family Leguminosae) was subjected for GC- MS analysis.
