Kata Kunci: Penipuan Online,Teknologi dan Informasi, UU ITE ABSTRACT Fraud is one of the cases that often occurs in society. With various motives and methods for committing this crime, it has developed along with the progress of the times. The progress of the times has had both positive and negative effects on social life. and information. Cases of online fraud are rampant when carrying out activities of buying and selling goods online. This must be a joint concern between the community and the government to jointly face the phenomenon this online fraud. The rules governing online fraud cases are contained in Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE). With the existence of these regulations it is hoped that they can overcome the practice of online fraud and take action against the perpetrators of this crime firmly and fairly in the region. Abstract
