ORGANIZATIONAL AGILITY AND SURVIVING CRISIS SITUATIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

This article aims to identify and evaluate adaptation strategies used by companies during crises, with a particular focus on the development of organizational agility. The article presents the results of a survey conducted in April and May of 2023. The sample consisted of 303 respondents. The conducted research showed that business conditions’ variability led companies to make quick decisions, increase flexibility, implement remote work, and decentralize responsibility. The analysis of the studies suggests that the pandemic might have accelerated companies’ transformation towards greater agility.
