The place and role of state programs in the socio-economic development of the South-East region of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2004–2018)

Abstract

The article tried to study the rapid development of the Southe-Eastern region of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the implementation of State Programs. Thus, new industrial areas have been created in the region, tourism infrastructure has been rebuilt. It has created conditions for the opening of new jobs with the start of activities of newly created enterprises in the region. Comprehensive work has been done for the development of the agricultural sector and tea farming has been restored. The communal economy of the region was reconstructed, social infrastructure was formed.
