Cholecystoduodenal fistula: An incidental finding of gall stone disease in a young male

Abstract

Chronic calculous cholecystitis, if left untreated for a long time, can lead to a bilioenteric fistula, which is an aberrant connection between the bile duct system and the gastrointestinal tract. These fistulas have a variety of clinical manifestations and may risk the patient’s life. Hence, the authors report a rare case of a patient presenting with a cholecystoduodenal fistula.
