ANÁLISE DE CASO DE REPRESENTAÇÃO LGBTI+: SOBRE JON KENT EM SUPERMAN: SON OF KAL-EL NÚMERO 17

Abstract

O presente artigo realiza análise de caso de uma personagem LGBTI+ em edição recente da DC Comics, nos referimos a Jon Kent em Superman: son of Kal-El número 17. Nossa abordagem será qualitativa, e dialoga com um variado aporte teórico, passando por nomes como Dandara Cruz, Darieck Scott, Ramzi Fawaz, Rob Lendrum, Neil Shyminsky etc. Nossa conclusão aponta para elementos positivos e negativos, que podemos demarcar em tal tipo de representação, em uma questão ambivalente diante das possibilidades de representação queer. This article performs a case analysis of an LGBTI+ character; we refer to the way Jon Kent is approached in Superman: son of Kal-El number 17. Our investigation will be qualitative, and dialogues with a varied theoretical contribution, going through names like Dandara Cruz, Darieck Scott, Ramzi Fawaz, Rob Lendrum, Neil Shyminsky etc. Our conclusion points to positive and negative elements, which we can demarcate in this type of representation, in an ambivalent question of the possibilities of queer representation.
