Digitalization of business processes has become popular over the past five years. The growth of computing capabilities and the use of computer technologies have changed the urban environment around humans. The development of the IT industry could not but affect business processes within many companies. This article examines what separates automation from digitalization and whether there is practical profit from this for industrial companies.
