Dynamics of the postvaccinal humoral immune response in canids vaccinated against CDV

Abstract

Canine distemper disease, a viral disease that affects canids, domestic and wild, regardless of age, race and sex, is one of the frequent infectious diseases in this species, evolving seriously, with a fatal outcome. Vaccination schemes practiced in companion canids also include vaccination against this infection produced by the canine distemper virus (CDV). This study aims to monitor the titer of anti-CDV antibodies after vaccination, in order to evaluate the efficiency of post-vaccination immune response.
