THE IMPACT OF THE TACHOGRAPH ON ROAD SAFETY

Abstract

To reduce the number of road accidents, it is proposed to use a tachograph as a means of monitoring the driver's working time. The tachograph records the mileage of the car and the driver's working time. Based on the analysis of statistical data, it is shown that exceeding the shift duration has the most significant share in the distribution of the most frequent violations.
