STUDY OF THE ESSENCE OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SECURITY OF AN ENTERPRISE IN THE MODERN CONDITIONS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The purpose is to study the essence of the socio-economic security of an enterprise, taking into account modern trends and development features. In the study, to analyze the essence of the socio-economic security of an enterprise, general scientific research methods were used, namely: the method of theoretical and comparative analysis, induction and deduction, and the graphical method. It is proved that today the operational, tactical, and strategic activities of each enterprise are subject to a significant number of factors of influence, and more often these factors are negative. The situation is aggravated by modern realities and global events, such as the pandemic and its consequences, as well as the attack of the Russian Federation on the territory of our country since 2014. Given this, enterprises every day try to implement measures to counter the negative impact of modern threats or adapt to new realities. The key factors for survival in this process are the management and security, in particular, socio-economic. It was found that the socio-economic security of an enterprise should be understood as a state in which security conditions are formed to ensure the protection of social and economic components from the negative impact of risks, threats, and dangers and the lack of response to various forms of challenge. It is substantiated that such a type of enterprise security as socio-economic today is a key factor, the provision of which will form a powerful basis for the development and survival of an enterprise in Ukraine. As a result of the study, the key parameters for changing the level of socio-economic security due to the negative impact of modern threats were formed. It has been determined that today it is an extremely difficult task to ensure socio-economic security for systems such as enterprises. Conventional methods and mechanisms will not suffice. Prospects for further research should concern a thorough study of the theoretical basis for ensuring the socio-economic security of an enterprise in the face of threats.
