Abstract

Indonesian tourism is a leading economic sector that is experiencing rapid growth and is the main driving force for the country's foreign exchange earnings, encouraging business development, infrastructure development and employment. The focus of village development at this time made the village the subject of development with the title "Building Village". Technical Guidance for the Development and Improvement of the Quality of Governance of Tourism Villages in Southeast Maluku is one of the collaborative programs with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy which was carried out as an effort to move the tourism sector involving the community or HR Managers of Tourism Destinations in Southeast Maluku. The technical guidance method with the aim of increasing the governance capacity and competency of tourism villages for village communities in the Southeast Maluku buffer zone is divided into two learning formats, namely theoretical learning and practical learning. The process of mentoring a tourist village displays various tourist potentials and attractions and has active tourism activities.
